Neighborhood outreach
Meet families and learners in everyday spaces, share useful information, and help connect them with education, career and support pathways.
Because real life happens beyond a screen. At bus stops. In neighborhoods. At community centers. At the park. On the block. That's where we want to show up, listen, connect and move people onward.

We believe the next opportunity shouldn't depend on whether someone knows which website to search, which office to call or which form to complete. Our vision is to take Onward beyond the website through pop-ups, neighborhood outreach, resource connections and community events—listening first and helping people take a practical next step.
Meet families and learners in everyday spaces, share useful information, and help connect them with education, career and support pathways.
Collaborate with local hosts on resource days, family connection events, career exploration and opportunities for neighbors to meet organizations face to face.
Help people take the next step online after an in-person conversation, with consent, privacy and human dignity at the center.
We don't want to parachute into communities with a flyer and disappear. We want to build trust, keep showing up, and eventually create opportunities for residents to be paid to organize, connect and serve where they live. Community knowledge is an asset. Local leadership is part of the solution.
FUTURE WORKFORCE PATHWAYWe envision an Onward Community Outreach Workforce pathway: practical, paid-work-oriented preparation for community ambassadors who can conduct outreach, communicate respectfully, support event operations, share resources, document outreach activity and guide neighbors toward appropriate services.
Community listening, communication, ethical outreach, privacy, safety, digital tools and basic referral navigation.
Supervised neighborhood canvassing, event support, digital signup assistance and partnership-building experiences.
Explore stipends, paid assignments, work readiness, coaching and transferable skills as partners and funding are developed.
This workforce pathway is a proposed program—not currently advertised as an accredited credential, guaranteed paid placement or active enrollment opportunity. Employment arrangements and compensation will be defined before recruitment.
Invite Onward to a community gathering, neighborhood resource event or trusted local space.
Help provide field supplies, materials, event resources, accessibility support and future workforce opportunities.
Share programs, services, careers or learning opportunities that residents can explore and access.
Onward is operated as a for-profit social enterprise by Avodah Dynamics. We chose a business model because we are building technology, employing people, delivering services and entering contracts with organizations—not operating as a tax-exempt charity. We believe a financially sustainable company can pursue meaningful community outcomes while remaining accountable for the value it delivers.
Organizations may purchase premium profile tools, partnership services, sponsored campaigns, outreach support and related products. Families and learners retain access to essential discovery tools without having to buy a premium organization subscription.
Our planned priorities include maintaining secure, accessible technology; paying staff and community ambassadors; covering outreach materials, transport and events; partner onboarding; and developing new features and locations. Business revenue also covers ordinary expenses, taxes and sustainable operations.
We aim to reinvest in stronger access and local engagement while operating a business that can earn a profit. We do not claim that every payment is spent exclusively on charitable activities or that a fixed percentage of revenue is allocated to outreach.
Our goal is to turn organizational investment into tools, trained local people and practical connections—not to rely on charitable status as proof of community impact. As programs operate, we'll report verified activity and outcomes rather than invented financial or impact figures.
Important: Avodah Dynamics and Onward are not 501(c)(3) charitable organizations. Payments to the company are not tax-deductible charitable donations. A purchaser may be able to treat a legitimate business sponsorship or service expense under applicable tax rules; consult a tax professional. Premium status never purchases an independent recommendation, private student information or guaranteed results.
