Community listening
Listening skills, cultural humility, professional conduct and relationship-building.
We're designing a workforce training pathway that equips local adults to listen, connect residents to opportunities and develop transferable outreach skills.
The program will be developed around supervised practice, clear performance standards and responsible engagement—not just handing out promotional materials.
Listening skills, cultural humility, professional conduct and relationship-building.
Privacy, consent, boundaries, responsible referrals and respectful communication.
Mobile signup assistance, QR tools, basic data entry and accessible resource discovery.
Event operations, personal safety, route planning, teamwork and reporting.
Practice with trained supervisors; document meaningful activity and follow-through.
Resume skills, coaching, professional references where earned, and exploration of paid roles.
A successful community program doesn't simply visit a neighborhood. It grows capacity inside that neighborhood. We want residents to be recognized for the lived knowledge, relationships and talent they already bring.
Status: program in development. No guaranteed job, stipend, certification or enrollment is offered at this time. Any future paid assignments require written terms, appropriate worker classification, safety protocols, supervision and confirmed funding. This program is not currently an accredited training provider.
